Is it just me or is spam getting worse and worse?

I’ve had this yahoo e-mail address since about 1996, and sometime in the interim I decided that I wanted to try one of those “make money for reading e-mails” scams. Hrmm… a bit of advice for someone considering that, NOBODY DO IT. That probably goes without saying, but heck, we all have to learn somehow
This is what I see after 1 day in my yahoo account, 630 e-mails in my bulk folder.
