Saturn Works!

The Game and Controller arrived this last week, so I was finally able to test it out. It turns out that the Sega Saturn didn’t come with a power cord. Or rather, it came with one that was not the correct one; Sony branded, didn’t fit.

John (the person who gave me the Sega Saturn) suggested I try a Sony Playstation power cord, because that’s what he had used. Good thing I kept my old Playstation, that power cord worked, thanks for the tip John (and the Sega Saturn).

So it works! Now to mod… :)

Funny, this, as I just sold my modded Saturn a couple days ago.

    Must haves:
    Elevator Action Returns
Saturn Bomberman (the best Bomberman game for ANY system, and it has a fantastic coop mode)
World Series Baseball 1 & 2 (if you like baseball games, these are fantastic)

Yea, I’m still debating this. It IS pretty old… it kind of feels like the equivalent of hacking out a Nintendo 64.

Nah it’s definitely worthwhile, as it is both incredibly hard to find Saturn games and incredibly hard on the wallet if you do manage to do so (especially the rares like NiGHTS and Panzer Dragoon).

Yea, but it can be emu’d for free…
