I just purchased your “128MB MEMORY CARD” through a 3rd party retailer, and I noticed that you have it listed as “128Mb” on your site. Is that to say the product really only holds 128Mb = 16MB of data?

This is similar to the product I ordered

but the one I ordered was for the PS2.

Hi Ray,

The card is 128 mega bytes, not mega bits. The small “b” is a mistake on our website. The only memory card we make for PS2 is 8 MB. Hope that answers your question.

Is that not for the PS2 adapter? Will it not work on the PS2, as advertised?

Unfortunately you have been mislead. That memory card you bid on is the 128MB memory card for the Gamecube, not the PS2. This is the memory card we make for the PS2: http://www.nyko.com/nyko/products/?i=23. If they have already sent it to you, please contact me when you get it and I will exchange it for you. It’s quite unfortunate that someone would advertise falsely like that, but then again it’s ebay.

So great, it’s not a 16 MB card like feared, but unfortunately it’s also not a PS2 memory card…

grr. I guess now I’ll have to buy a Gamecube *cough*.

Edit 2/03: The card came, and whattaya know, it doesn’t even fit on the PS2! It’s for the GC…
