Gift Tree
Today was my first day as a programmer at Gift Tree. I’ll be doing PHP and Oracle development on Linux and OSX servers from an OSX workstation.
It looks to be a good fit for me. The technologies which I do not know are ones which I’ve wanted to learn for some time; namely Oracle and Mac OSX. The best part about the job is the proximity: it took 7 minutes to get to work, 15 minutes to get from work. This is a change from 1 hour to get to work, 1 hour 15 minutes to get from work. That’s an extra 53 minutes of sleep I get in the morning
.

Not that I know of, but keep your eyes open on Craigslist, that’s how I found it.

Awesome, I have been reading your site for some time and I am glad to see you looking toward OS X with open eyes. Most PC people and gamers look at Macs with the utmost distain. Thanks for being accepting of all technologies. By the way, what exactly is Gift Tree doing with Mac OS X? Is it simply for web development and e-commerece?

Yea, mostly. I think I’m moving away from the gaming anyway
