In 2002 I was awarded the Data Processing Management Assocation / Portland Chapter’s scholarship. It awards $1,000 for the first year and $500 a year for 3 years if you receive a 3.0 or better. This is my final year of receiving the scholarship.

I went to this year’s DPMA Golf Classic where money is raised for the scholarship recipients. I played with this year’s $1,000 recipient and his father. It was only my 2nd time playing, but I had fun and I might go again sometime.
