It’s been a good couple years with my Dell Inspiron 700m laptop. But since my Vostro came (and I think it’s a keeper), I have to get rid of the 700m.

At my work’s party today I won an engraved 5G 80GB White Apple iPod (retail $350 atm) and 2x $50 iTunes gift cards. My 4G 20GB White Apple iPod has about 4GB used, so I need to put some more music on it .

Ever since cruise #2, my camera has intermittently gone to a blank display instead of a preview… it’s broke. It’s not a display issue, because everything else looks fine — I can still view pictures on the CF card. It’s definitely a lens issue.

So I’ve been waiting for this camera to die. I paid ~$60 for it and a 1GB card over a year ago. Since this camera takes completely crappy zoomed in pictures of electronics, I want to get a good one, one that can finally take some good pictures. I’ll be keeping my eyes out for some reviews. Any suggestions?

I’ve been looking for reviews on the Dell Vostro 1500, and I finally found a few. It seems as though all around the board, it’s a decent system that is fairly bulky, has average battery life, and has the potential for great specs.
