How to shoot light trails. This is something I really want to do, I think it’s really neat.

This is something I played around with a little at 4th of July, but I really need to get some car motion or star movement pictures, those seem to be the most popular targets.

My best so far, some work with sparklers:

I realized afterwards that my color settings were off, hence the yellow hue. Oh well, it will be better next time.

Purchased a really cheap 70-300m telephoto lens for my DSLR camera. I’m really liking this lens for macro photography. Of course I’m a noob at best, but I’m having a blast playing around with it.

I wasn’t seeing enough benefit to FAlbum, so I removed it. Too slow and confusing for my tastes.

Also, I got sick of the monthly updates to WordPress, so I finally switched over to using the subversion method. Now an upgrade is as simple as an svn update and click the Upgrade button.

When I went to Cleveland, I borrowed a buddy’s 70-300m telephoto lens for my Canon DSLR camera. I liked it a lot, so I wanted one. I just bought the Sigma 70-300mm f/4-5.6 DG Macro Telephoto Zoom Lens for Canon SLR Cameras, the price was right .

I recently picked up a tripod, so I was able to take some nice 3 or more second shots for the 4th of July.
